In a world that often praises pride and self-promotion, God values a heart of humility. The Bible says in James 4:10, “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.” Humility is not about thinking less of yourself but about recognizing your need for God and putting others above yourself.
God delights in the humble because humility creates space for His love, grace, and power to work in our lives. When we admit that we can’t do it all on our own, we invite Him to guide us, strengthen us, and lift us up in His perfect way.
Today’s challenge is to take the high road and practice humility by putting someone else first. It could be through an act of kindness, a word of encouragement, or simply listening to someone who needs to be heard. Then, share this message with a friend to remind them of the beauty of a humble heart.
Let’s embrace humility, knowing that God’s love shines brightest in hearts that are open and surrendered to Him.
