Faith is a journey—a process that takes time, patience, and trust. In this short video, we explore how faith is like gardening. Just as a gardener plants seeds in the soil and trusts that growth will come, so we must plant the seeds of God’s Word in our hearts and wait with hope. The results don’t always show up right away, but as we continue to seek God and water our faith through prayer, Scripture, and obedience, we begin to see growth.
Spiritual growth doesn’t happen overnight. It takes seasons—some dry, some rainy, some hard, and some full of sunshine. But every season has a purpose in God’s plan. Just like plants must be rooted deeply to stand strong in the wind, our faith must be rooted in Christ so we can stand firm in the face of life’s storms.
Colossians 2:6-7 (NIV) says, “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”
This video reminds us that even when we don’t see immediate results, God is still at work beneath the surface. Your trust in Him is not wasted. The seed you planted in faith will grow in His perfect timing.
Let this be an encouragement to keep going. Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep watering the garden of your faith. Because in due season, you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
